Bathing Frenchies

(1) Always ask what is best to shampoo your Frenchie with. I have tried several

shampoos but the best to date is called

Micro-Tek pet shampoo by EQyss grooming products. 

(2) NEVER use Adams Flea  & Tick Spray on a French Bulldog. Kiki was allergic to it and had a severe reaction.

(3) Use baby shampoo around eyes and on the face.

(4)Always put cotton in their ears before bathing to keep the water out. Never use Q-Tips in the inner ear canal to clean them. Ask your Vet to reccommend an ear cleaner and use a damp cloth. Water in the ears can cause infection and cause bacterial growth.

ALWAYS ASK IF THE SIRE HAS A DNA CERTIFICATE. IF NOT YOU RUN THE RISK OF PURCHASING A DOG THAT AKC MAY DENY REGISTRATION OR FREEZE THE PAPERS ON. THIS HAPPENED TO ME TWICE  !!!!!!!!!!!!

(5)  I like to use a baby shampoo and Q-Tips to clean the wrinkles on their face. This area should be checked often for dirt and debris. This should be done weekly or at the least every 2 weeks.

my kennels for my youngsters to romp and play .  They have wire floors so the urine and feces fall into a plastic pan . I use wee wee pads and newspaper to line the pan for easy cleanup. This is great for those that work and are away for long periods of time. The price is very reasonable, about $175. You can also purchase castors to roll it  in and out of the house for cleaning.  I use bleach and water or the old fashion Lysol disinfectant in the brown bottle to clean them with.

(7)  I have tried many of the top brands of

puppy foods and Blue Buffalo in the pale blue bag is awesome.  My pups are not scratching and their stools are normal. Their coats are shiny and silky to the touch.

There is no beet pulp in it and they don't get stains under their eyes.
